How to look up a Bomb Party piece in Sparkle Finder
Maybe you saw a piece in someone else’s reveal and can’t stop thinking about it. Maybe you’re holding a label and want to know what the piece is called. Either way, the first stop in Sparkle Finder is the jewelry library.
This guide is part of the Sparkle Finder FAQ. It walks through how the library works, how to search it, and what to do when a piece you want isn’t there yet.
What is the Sparkle Finder jewelry library?
The jewelry library is the catalog of Bomb Party pieces inside Sparkle Finder. You can browse it with a free account and open any piece to see its details, whether a Sparkle Suite rep has it on the Dance Floor, and when that rep’s next show is.
The library is the part of the app you’ll probably use most, because almost everything else starts from a piece: saving it, finding a rep who has it, or getting to the next show.
How do I search for a piece?
Type a piece name, an item number, a stone or a collection into the search box. Then narrow the results with the Collections, Materials, Stone / gem, Type, Label and Year filters.
If you have the label, the item number is the quickest route. It takes you straight to that piece (and any stone or material versions that share the number), so you skip the scrolling.
No label? Start with what you remember. A stone and a collection together usually get you close, and the Type filter keeps different kinds of jewelry from crowding each other out. If you only remember roughly when the piece came out, the Year filter helps narrow things down.
You can mix filters, too. Pick a Type, add a Stone, and the list gets short fast.
How do I see whether a rep has the piece?
Open the piece. Its page shows whether a Sparkle Suite rep with an upcoming show has it on the Dance Floor, along with the next show time. Tap Visit Rep Site to go to that rep’s Sparkle Suite site.
The Dance Floor is a rep’s list of dancers: revealed Bomb Party pieces the rep has listed as available for a dancer swap. Sparkle Finder shows you those dancers ahead of time, so you know which show to catch.
The swap itself doesn’t happen in Sparkle Finder. Dancer swaps happen on the rep’s Sparkle Suite site during the live show, and the rep makes the final call. Sparkle Finder’s job is to get you to the right show knowing what’s there.
Dancers change as reps update their Dance Floors, so a piece that isn’t on a Dance Floor today may show up before a later show.
When you want the show itself, read how to find Bomb Party live shows and Dance Floors.
What if the piece isn’t in the library?
It just isn’t in the library yet. With Silver, type it into Find it for me, and if there’s no match, tap “Save this as a wish anyway” to keep it on your Wishlist.
Nic-Nac is your collection curator and jewelry finder assistant, and Find it for me is one of its Silver tools. The search box says “Find it for me — name or describe a piece”, so you can describe the piece in your own words.
If you already own the piece, open your Collection page and use Showcase Studio, under “Missing from the library?”. Add a photo of the full original label, a clear jewelry photo and the item number, then tap Send to Showcase Studio.
For pieces that are in the library, Find it for me checks reps’ Dance Floors and counts a lead only when that rep has a show in the next 48 hours. That way you see a show time you can actually make.
Silver is free during the beta, and no card is needed to sign up.
Saving it is covered in keep track of your collection and Wishlist.
Does the library cover every Bomb Party piece?
No. The library doesn’t include every piece Bomb Party has ever made, so if you can’t find something, it doesn’t mean the piece doesn’t exist.
We’d rather tell you that up front than have you wonder whether you typed it wrong. If a search comes up empty, try the item number or a looser search (just the stone, or just the collection) before you give up.
Still nothing? Save it to your Wishlist with Find it for me and keep an eye on the reps you follow. Alerts aren’t available yet.
That’s the library in a nutshell: search by what you know, open the piece, and see whether a Sparkle Suite rep has it before the next show.
Sparkle Finder is getting ready for its beta. Tap Get notified when we launch on the Sparkle Finder home page to hear when it opens.
